Ordinary Woman
Written by Michael S. Hysinger – michaelhysinger@yahoo.com
She leaves the house every weekday
At Nine Thirty or Quarter to Ten
She returns every day about Quarter to Eight
Then the next day she does it again
You might think she’s an ordinary woman
It may seem she doesn’t know how to dream
And although she appears to be empty inside
She’s oh so much more than she seems
Yes we’re all so much more than we seem
Ordinary Woman - Extraordinary dreams
Ordinary Woman - Bursting at the seams
Ordinary Woman - Try to live your dreams today
At night after watching the late show
In the moments before she’s asleep
She soars through the universe crying for love
And she drowns in the tears that she weeps
Oh she drowns in the tears that she weeps
Ordinary Woman - Extraordinary dreams
Ordinary Woman - Bursting at the seams
Ordinary Woman - Try to live your dreams today
Sometimes while she’s running an errand
She’ll look over and catch someone’s eye
As he smiles her way, gives her warmth for today
All her dreams start to come back alive
All her dreams start to come back alive
Ordinary Woman - Extraordinary dreams
Ordinary Woman - Bursting at the seams
Ordinary Woman - Try to live your dreams today
