I’m Still Loving You
Copyright 2006 Michael S. Hysinger
I’m barely breathing – as you say that you’re leaving
All the things that I left unsaid – have let you slip away
And through the curtain – autumn breeze blows uncertain
How could I forget to say the words – that would have made you stay
But I’m still loving you
Don’t say that our loving is through
You’re still part of me
Why do you say that you want to be free
In the mirror – all my thoughts reflect much clearer
We must say the things we mean to say – or the seeds of love may die
My mind is racing – back and forth slowly pacing
Finding words that will mean enough - to make you want to try
Because I’m still loving you
Don’t say that our loving is through
You’re still part of me
Why do you say that you want to be free
And more than anything
I want you to be free – with me
Ah - Don’t say that our loving is through
Ah – Because I’m still loving you
