Do You Still Think Of Me
Copyright 2007 Michael S. Hysinger
I walked by our old place it’s been repainted
Could swear I saw you waving down to me
The colors still show through where we made rainbows
And our lights are still there hanging in the tree
I walked away and dried my eyes couldn’t get you off my mind
Do you still think of me – in the early morning rain
Do you still think of me – and whisper my name
Do you still think of me – when you wake in the night
Do you still think of me - and hope I’m alright
I ran into Christine she asked about you
She didn’t know we’d gone our separate ways
It’s funny but I told her you were happy
‘Cause that’s what I wish the most for you these days
Memories of you everywhere even in the cloudy sky
Do you still think of me – in the early morning rain
Do you still think of me – and whisper my name
Do you still think of me – when you wake in the night
Do you still think of me - and hope I’m alright
Maybe in time you’ll think of me too the way that I think of you
Do you still think of me – when you wake in the night
Do you still think of me - and hope I’m alright
It seems in almost everything I do – I still think of you
I still think of you
