After The Rain

As I walk down this long dusty road I know

All the feelings that are there deep inside will grow

And within me is the place that I seek - Whatever I reap I sow

Yes I long for a time that has long since past

Whan the pace of my life wasn't quite so fast

As the rain from the sky starts to pour - I open the door at last

And the rain clears the fear from inside

All the pain and the tears that I've cried

I know - to be free - I know - It's up to me

Then after the rain falls I go outside

Everything is so clear there before my eyes

I'm refreshed by the air that I breathe - I suddenly see inside

Where there once was the shell of a man I see

That I've grown through my pain and my misery

What the storm can't destroy is renewed - Then cast back into the sea

And the rain clears the fear from inside

All the pain and the tears that I've cried

I know - to be free - I know - It's up to me

After the rain has fallen I grow - After the rain has fallen I know

After the rain has fallen I cry - After the rain has fallen I die

After the rain - After the pain ... (repeat)
